Waiting

Waiting is not fun. Waiting can feel like you’re wasting time when you could be doing something else. Waiting can make it feel like time slows down to an unbearable pace.

In times of difficulty, waiting may be required in between appointments, during treatments, trying a new approach. The saying “Patience is a virtue,” will come to mind.

Waiting does not have to be a waste however. We can always distract ourselves with activities, depending upon where we are at the time. Waiting can also be a time where we can get things done.

At times, waiting can also be a needed pause when things happen quickly. A person facing a challenge could use the time to gather themselves, and maybe look at things in a new light.

So, maybe if you’re frustrated, look at waiting as an opportunity rather than a bad thing.
