Stay Focused

When we are facing challenges, we need the ability to stay calm and find a place of peace, despite the difficulties. Worry and fear and uncontrolled emotions won't do anything to help our situations. We need to stay focused on solutions instead of failure.

Is it easy to do? Of course not. No doubt, most of us have to work at it.

In sports, an athlete wants to stay away from extreme emotions while competing, maintaining a composure that is usually seen from an experienced player.

When life hits us when we least expect it, we might not have the experiences that will help us navigate the ups and downs that will come. 

If we have the opportunity, we can learn from people who have gone through similar situations, we can draw upon our faith, and we can also remember to look at ourselves as overcomers rather than victims.
