Distract Yourself

When you're going through struggles, don't get in the habit of sitting around, talking about your hard times. You will be much better off to distract yourself by doing other, more productive things. Be a blessing to someone else, listen to good music, find a reason to laugh, exercise. If you can, go for a walk. If you're able, bike, create, write, paint, play a game. You might not feel like it at the time, but getting your mind off your troubles can work wonders.
