Opportunity

"We are all faced with a series of great opportunities, brilliantly disguised as impossible situations." Charles R. (Chuck) Swindoll is credited with this quote, a thought that we need to get down in our spirit.

When we have challenges, we can let them get us down, or we can look for the good that could come from our difficulty. We're not saying that it is easy, or that it is our natural reaction when things don't go as planned. We are human. However, in many cases, there is good that could come from the bad.

Swindoll, a pastor, founder of Insight for Living, and a prolific author of over 50 books, put this thought of opportunities, into practice, judging by the titles of some of his books. Rise and Shine: A Wake Up Call, Encouragement for Life: Words of Hope and Inspiration, and Laugh Again are just some of the titles. 

What opportunities are we missing? 

Let this be a day of looking for the good that can come from our challenges. Maybe, our experiences could help someone facing the same challenges. Maybe, our faith can be made much stronger. Maybe, our character could be shaped in a much greater way because we faced our fears instead of ignoring them or running away. Just maybe.
