Later You Will Understand

"You do not understand now what I am doing, but later you will understand."

Jesus said this in John 13:7 in answer to a question from Peter. An explanation of this is given. Jesus' word acknowledges that Peter and the disciples may not fully grasp the meaning of what is happening at the moment. Jesus assures them that they will eventually understand the significance of his actions and teachings.

No doubt, in our own life, we have had things happen to us that we didn't understand, or value until later. Now, perhaps, we can also understand.

Let us remember that challenges, and struggles, and things we might not understand, can also lead us to new directions and places that take us where we could not have gone without them.

Have Faith.
