When someone is facing challenges and having hard times, you may read that the person was in a dark place. Despair it seems resides in the dark. Dark equates with lonely, not being able to see, nowhere to go.
Dark places are places to be avoided. Dark places can pull you in and under. The farther you go the more difficult it is to get out.
Today, try to make a special effort to avoid these dark places. When you find yourself getting pulled into these places, do anything to keep from falling.
Find the light. Open windows. Get outside and exercise if you’re able. Explore. Keep negative thoughts away. Find encouragement. Seek out positive people. Though you may be the one hurting, find someone to help. Be kind.
